Mike became President of Travel Haus in 1993 after the company was opened by a local St. Louis family in 1990.

Over the past 30 plus years he has grown the business 10-fold into one of the premier retail store front agencies in North America.

The agency and Mike have been recognized by many tour operators, hoteliers, DMC’s and tourist boards as a top producer. One of his most cherished awards is from Karisma Resorts and Spa, which manages his favorite resorts in the Riviera Maya, El Dorado Casitas. Of the 100,000 plus agents in North American Karisma voted Mike as their 13^th Hall of Fame member.

Mike also serves on numerous boards in the industry, most recently he was appointed to AmResort Collection’s Travel Agency Advisor Board.  Mike has served on numerous boards for charitable organizations in St. Louis Metropolitan to include, Ronald McDonald House of St. Louis, South County YMCA, Vianney High School & Leukemia Society of St. Louis.

He is the father of 3 beautiful children who continue to inspire him daily!

Of all the destinations he has traveled, Mexico is still his favorite destination as he loves the 50 shades of the blue in the ocean, the exceptional service of the Mexican people and the many tequilas available in the country.
